Battle Royale - Program 1

[The Ren]

Solstice cleared an area for them to sleep she did up a make-shift bed using their duffel bags as pillows. She sat on it making sure it was ok then looked up at Andy. "Come on Andy. Let's go to sleep." she held her arms out to him.

Hinata wasn't too comfortable about being left alone but didn't protest, she trusted Han and Keilani. She stared around as best she could. Something shifted in a near by bush and she jumped turning toward it.

Kino stepped out of the bush quietly. "Well well, didnt think they's leave you alone so quickly." she pulled her hands apart, the piano wire held tight between them. "Makes this easier for me..." she jumped on Hinata before she had a chance to scream and pulled the wire up against her neck tightly.
Hinata squeeled but not as loudly as she wished she could get out. Kino was bigger than her and much stronger. She tried to push her weight backward unto her but it only made her step back hitting over an old milk bottle. The action made the wire dig into Hinata's neck drawing blood.
Hinata started to panic, this was it! She was going to be picked off so quickly in the game!

Aelita blushed at the touch. A boy had never held her hand like this before. She nodded in her surprise and sat down next to him looking at their hands. "It would be great if it had some kind of internet connection."

"I...I know..." Calvin said stopping He had seen the light too. "So-so-someone....someone beat us...he-here." he said stating the obvious. They couldnt run into someone already so soon? Calvin turned back, there was a hill jus a little distance off. There was a house close to it...and the light were on. they were safer just staying by the hill...had to rough it tonight. He took hold of Nathan's hand and hurried away before they were heard.

They weren't quiet enough though. Tooru had heard the crunchy foot steps on the beach. This was a good chance for him to lower the competition...who could really hurt him when he had a pistol anyway?

As they neared the shrine Tahirah slowed down pulling back on Jae's hand. "I think we should becareful from here, we don't know if someone else got here first" She went into her bag and pulled out her weapon with a small dart. "I hope this thing works.."

[Happy_Kai]

Nodding slowly, Andy set his bottle of water aside before standing, and walking over to Solstice. He climbed onto the makeshift bed before laying close to his twin. Snuggling up into her embrace, he sighed almost contently. "Solstice...?" He whispered softly. "...Don't die, ok..?"

Han was busy checking out the inside of the building when he heard an odd noise. It sounded almost like a gurgling squeel, and then he heard something being knocked over. If it weren't for the dead quiet of the night, he would have completely missed those sounds. Holding onto his katana, he quickly left the building only to find Kino strangling Hinata. Panic overrode him, and before he could realize what he was doing, he'd sliced her down her back diagonally, shirt almot instantly covered in a spray of blood. ...Holy...! Did that really happen?? Did he really just...do that..?!

Tyler continued to hold onto Aelita's hand as he powered the laptop on. As soon as it started up, he checked the battery life. Four hours. It was about the best they could do unless they could find working electricity. "Internet connection, huh?" He had to hack into a few things before the double monitor icon suddenly had a little globe in front of it. "Bingo. Internet connection up..." His free hand worked quickly as he glanced to Aelita, and smiled at her. "You have the best weapon in the game. I can probably get us all out of here."

Nathan quickly followed behind Calvin, holding onto his hand tightly as they moved away from the beach cave. He had no idea how lucky he was to have Calvin with him. If Calvin hadn't been there, he would have gone to see where the light was coming from, and would have been instantly killed.

Jae smirked slightly, nodding at Tahirah. "Since it's the only thing we've got, I hope it works, too. ...I'm gonna go in first, you stay right behind me, ok? If -anything- happens, I want you to run." Almost hesitantly, he let go of Tahirah's hand before climbing a row of stairs. He looked around at everything. The leaves hadn't been disturbed one bit which meant there was probably no one there, but he wasn't going to chance anything when it came to Tahirah. He stayed in front of her until he was satisfied they were alone. "Well, looks like the coast is clear."

[The Ren]

"Don't worry, I won't leave you." She hugged her brother tightly. It surprised her how tired she was, this whole ordeal was so stressing she hadn't realized the strain she had taken on her body. "Sleep tight lil brother." she said with a yawn then drifted off to a true non drug induced sleep.

Kino let out a blood curdling scream falling to the ground. She didn't expect him to get there so fast! At least she could have taken out the other girl before anyone realized....but no. Damn it...she should have waited longer. She lay on the floor bleeding out breathing heavily staring up at Han.
Hinata clawed at the piano wire until it came clear of her neck. "No!" She held her hands up at Han. "Please Han don't..." she didn't want to see the guy she admired the most become a murderer in front of her eyes...and even though she was never fond of Kino...she didn't want to see her cut down in such a way.

"A great weapon is useless in the hands of one who can't wield it." she said in a low voice. "It's good that you are with me after all." she was getting a bit tired herself but sleep was out of the question. She would fight it till her body gave out, especially since the last time she gave into sleep she woke up in this nightmare....it had left her quite paranoid.

Tahirah let out a sigh of relief and followed Jae up the steps. "If anything were really to happen I wouldn't run, after all this I couldn't just leave you here" Though she was glad she didn't have to use her weapon. "lets just get some rest" She looked around in the dusty old shrine with a slight look of disgust "eh.."

Han grimaced at the sound of Kino's cry. He nearly dropped his katana, but reason told him to hold onto it. Hinata's voice seemed to break through the hold Kino had over him. He looked at her before taking her hand. "Are you ok?? ....We have to get out of here." Anyone could have heard that scream, and they could be on their way to find them.

Keilani had run back around the building at the sound of a scream, her heart beating a mile a minute. She'd hope beyond everything it hadn't been Hinata, and let out a sigh of relief when she realized it wasn't. ...But there was still someone on the floor. ...Kino?? Her eyes drifted to the bloody katana in Han's hands. ...so he'd done that? She bit her bottom lip softly, and slipped back behind the building. If she were thinking rationally, she'd realize that Han had probably just saved Hinata or something, but fear held her tightly. If Han was going to kill someone, it wouldn't be Hinata, it'd be her...!

Tyler quickly checked to see if he could get into contact with any sort of government official. He didn't care which country. He just sent a mass e-mail to every one he could find that he thought might help. Once that was done, he set about trying to hack into the program's computers. If he could go in undetected and deactivate the collars, that'd give them all a better chance. He looked to Aelita, and smiled at her a bit. "You should sleep. This is going to take a while."

"Yeah...it's in pretty bad shape." Jae responded, putting the bags on the ground. He dug through the both of them in order to pull out the two, itchy, wool, gray blankets that had been thoughtlessly thrown in there. Putting one of the blankets on the ground, he propped a bag onto the blanket like a pillow, and motioned for Tahirah to lay down. "You sleep, I'll keep watch."

[The Ren]

Hinata touched at her neck and nodded, she was mostly fine, the wire had only cut into the surface. "But Keilani.." She said panicking. She didn't want to leave her bestfriend alone in this game especially with blood thirsty people like Kino already taking action. "Kei! Where are you!?" she called out.

Kino had lost too much blood and had stopped moving on the ground. She took her last few breaths.

Girl#5 Kino: Dead


Aelita shook he head slightly. She was already starting to doze off, all that Tyler was doing seemed much too advanced for her. She gave up trying to follow it long before. "Hm..? Oh...ok. Wait....no.." She pulled away from him and slapped her face. "I can't sleep not yet!" She stood....I'll just wash up for a second..." she said making her way to what looked like a smaller bathroom. Sure enough it was with a toilet and a sink....was so cramped it was like a closet. "I won't be long." She closed the door behind her after offering him a smile.

Dio jerked away at the sound of a twig snapping. He covered his mouth scared that his action had called attention to himself.
Sadly it had. "A white rabbit...lost and away from his burrow." Gaara said lowly as he parted the bush and stared down at Dio's wide eyed form. "It's ok, for you I'll make it quick." He brought down the axe heavily onto his shoulder and cut clean down his torso. Dio cried out in morbid pain much to Gaara's chagin. He licked his lips as the blood sprayed from the gaping wound, then in a swift motion pulled the axe up and cut his head clean off.
He darted his tongue out to take a taste. He raised a brow. "Disgusting..." He threw the axe up on over his shoulder and was on his way.
Boy#9 Dio: Dead

Tooru made his way up the small hill, having spotted his surprise guests he followed them in silence. Luckily for them a cloud covered over that night's bright moon hiding them long enough for them to escape his line of vision. Damn it! So close. The lit house was like a beacon now however, maybe thay had made camp there? He made his way to the house. Who needs a cave when you can have a whole house!?

[TJ-Kun]

Tahirah went and set herself on the makeshift bed. "I'm not sure I could sleep on this thing even if I wanted to..But ah thank you for making it anyway. I suppose your not all bad." She laid back to at least try to rest on what felt like a bed made for slaves. "Aren't you going to get any sleep?"
